This years Dancing for Stroke was a huge success! The event managed to raise over $500,000 for Neuro Wellness programs in the East Valley of Phoenix, AZ.
Arizona Ballroom Champions once again partnered with Dignity Health Foundation of the East Valley to bring the best black-tie fundraiser of the season. If you did not get to attend this years event, here is a recap of the evening.
1. Picking the Perfect Song
This part is completely personal. A good First Dance song should have some sort of meaning for the happy couple. Maybe it was a song that played on your first date, or the words to the song match exactly how you feel about each other. Whatever the case may be, there are no wrong choices for Your Song.
The Mega Match is a mock dance competition that we have at our studio three times a year. Everything is set up just like a real dance competition; hair, make-up, heats, judges, and the costumes. The Mega Match is an opportunity for you to experience a competition without having to actually do a competition. It also gives you a mini-goal that you can set for yourself to help you track your progress while learning how to ballroom dance.
