One common misconception about learning how to Ballroom dance is that you already have to know how to dance in order to take lessons. But that is simply not true. At Arizona Ballroom Champions we specialize in teaching people with little to no experience. We make it fun and easy. The hardest part is walking through the front door for the first time. Every single student and teacher started the exact same way. We all had to take that first lesson. So get up the courage and call us at 480 442 9188 to schedule your first lesson!
4. There are Private Lessons
When people think of learning how to dance, they think of school, or a traditional dance studio that teaches jazz, tap, and ballet where lessons are taught in a group setting. When learning how to ballroom dance the majority of your lessons are taught in what we call a “Private” lesson. A private lesson is where you and a teacher learn one on one. You can learn any style of dance that you choose and you can pick your own schedule. The lessons are also taught to you at your level, so if you are picking it up fast you will progress faster, if you need a little more time on a subject, your teacher will spend that extra time until you get it right.
