Many people learn to dance for many different reasons. Some students learn because they want to have fun, others come in because they want a new hobby or a fun way to exercise.
Some students come in because they have had a life-long dream of dancing on stage or dancing in a competition. Others are not sure why they wanted to learn how to dance, but they have always been curious about what it would be like to learn.
Some women want to have that Cinderella moment. They want to get out of the house, dress up and do something for themselves.
Many men enjoy learning because it gives them a chance to impress their peers. Some men use dancing to help build social confidence.
A lot of couples come in because they are getting ready for wedding season or they have booked their first cruise and would like to be able to blend in on the dance floor.
Other couples are looking for a new way to spend time with each other, something that doesn’t involve going out to eat or going to the movies. And many couples have found that learning to dance will bring a new level of intimacy due to the fact they are spending time holding each other and looking into each other's eyes. I’ve seen couples connect in a special way after learning how to dance!
